Administrator Supports for Co-Teachers
Administrators who espouse commitment to inclusion can improve inclusive practices and co-teaching. General and special educators are expected to collaborate to support the diverse needs of all learners in the co-taught classroom. Data collected from interviews with middle school administrators who support co-teachers in the inclusive classroom will be discussed. Supports that were found to be effective in promoting successful collaboration, inclusion, and co-teaching will be shared.
